PNB LBO Recruitment 2026: Punjab National Bank (PNB) has invited online applications for the recruitment of 545 Local Bank Officer (LBO) posts under Junior Management Grade Scale-I (JMGS-I). The recruitment drive is being conducted for vacancies across multiple states, with applications being accepted through the bank’s official website from July 20, 2026 to August 09, 2026.Candidates applying for the posts must hold a graduation degree, possess at least one year of banking experience and demonstrate proficiency in the local language of the state for which they are seeking appointment. The selected candidates will be posted only in the state for which they apply. The pay scale for the post ranges from ?48,480 to ?85,920.Eligibility criteria and age limitApplicants must be between 20 and 30 years of age as on July 01, 2026. Age relaxation will be available in accordance with Government of India rules. SC and ST candidates are eligible for five years of relaxation, OBC (NCL) candidates for three years, PwBD candidates for 10 years, ex-servicemen for five years and 1984 riot-affected persons for five years.The recruitment has announced vacancies across Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura, taking the total number of posts to 545.Direct link to apply online for the PNB LBO Recruitment 2026Direct link to check and download the PNB LBO Recruitment Notification 2026Selection process and examination patternThe selection process comprises an online written examination, document screening, Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT), personal interview, final merit list and document verification.The online examination will carry 150 questions for 150 marks with a total duration of 180 minutes. The paper will include Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General, Economy and Banking Awareness. A deduction of 0.25 marks will apply for every incorrect response.Application fee and submission processThe application fee has been fixed at Rs 59, including GST, for SC, ST and PwBD candidates, while General, OBC and EWS candidates are required to pay Rs 1,180, including GST.To apply, candidates need to register with a valid email ID and mobile number, complete the online application form, upload the required documents, photograph and signature, pay the prescribed fee online and submit the application. A copy of the final submitted form should be downloaded and retained for future reference.
