It is easy to measure interest by messages. Who texted first? Why did he take three hours to reply? Why did he send a goodnight text if he does not want a relationship?
Those questions can keep you analysing every little interaction.
Instead, look at the bigger picture.
Does he make actual plans with you? Does he follow through? Is he willing to discuss what he wants? Does he make room for you outside his phone screen?
Most importantly, ask yourself what you want.
If you are hoping that enough conversations will eventually convince him to commit, you could end up spending months waiting for an answer he has already given through his behaviour.
Daily texts can show interest. They cannot, on their own, define a relationship.
