In a late-night Instagram post on October 10, the actor told fans that the videos are aimed at children, combining entertainment, family values and learning.

Thanking viewers for tuning in, Salman Khan wrote, “Thank you for watching my YouTube channel. I understand that the content is not for you yet, but you also understand that it is for your little ones. Let’s see how this pans out (sic).”He then added that learning matters as much as fun. “Along with a little fun, love and family, education is also necessary for children. Right?” he said.
What the channel is all about
The post gives a better picture of the actor’s plan. The channel went live on September 22 and does not follow the usual celebrity YouTube template of personal updates and behind-the-scenes clips.Salman Khan instead appears in a double role, playing both a seasoned acting and personality coach and a student who is just starting out. The videos cover acting, body language, dialogue delivery and the mannerisms that have come to define his screen persona. The coach teaches the student, turning the star’s well-known style into a light-hearted lesson.So far, 11 videos have been uploaded. The format may not suit every fan, but the actor’s latest note suggests that winning over grown-up viewers is not the main goal.On October 9, Salman Khan shared the channel link on his Instagram Story and asked fans to check it out. “Let’s start from the beginning. My official YouTube channel. You will find everything here, from A to Z,” he wrote.
Salman Khan’s earlier YouTube journey
This is not his first step into the platform. He started ‘Salman Khan Films Music’ in 2020, and it now has close to three million subscribers. It hosts songs from his movies along with independent music releases.During the COVID-19 pandemic, music also let him show another side of his creativity. He put out tracks like ‘Pyaar Karona’ and ‘Tere Bina’, adding singing to his acting career.
Salman Khan’s work commitments
Away from YouTube, Salman is currently hosting ‘Bigg Boss 20’, his 15th season as the reality show’s host. In cinema, he will next be seen in ‘Maatrubhumi’, earlier called ‘Battle of Galwan’. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film also features Chitrangda Singh. Its release has been postponed, and the makers have not yet shared a new date.
