Part 3. Is AI Going to Take Away Jobs? Or Will It Create New Opportunities? Understand This in Very Simple Language.

In the previous two parts, we understood what exactly AI is and how we can start using AI.

Now there is one question in front of all of us, which is in the minds of many people today.

“Will AI take away my job?”

This question is not only in the minds of young people.

People who have jobs, small shopkeepers, small business owners, teachers, journalists, employees working in offices and even people running big businesses are asking the same question.

Some people are unnecessarily afraid of AI.

Some people say, “Tomorrow AI will do all the work.”

While some people say, “AI will make our work even easier.”

So, what exactly is true in all this?

Come, let us understand this today in very simple language.

Is AI Just a Monster That Takes Away Our Work?

No.

In fact, there is no need to consider AI a monster.

AI is a human resource.

Just as we use scissors to cut paper, a calculator to do mathematics and the internet to search for information, we can use AI for certain tasks.

Does the scissors cut the paper on its own?

No.

Does the calculator run a shop on its own?

No.

In the same way, AI also does not do any work completely on its own.

We tell it what work to do, we handle it, and then AI helps us with that work in different ways.

So, Will Some Jobs Be Affected?

Yes.

Some jobs may change because of AI and Automation.

For example, if a person has to enter the same type of information into a computer every day, some part of that work can be done faster with the help of AI or Software.

If an office has to prepare the same type of reports every day, some of that work can be done easily and quickly by AI.

This means that the way some work is done may change.

But this does not mean that every job will disappear.

It is very important for all of us to understand this.

Let’s Look at a Small Example

Suppose there is a teacher in a school.

AI can help the teacher prepare a lesson.

AI can also prepare questions.

AI can also provide practice questions for students.

But by looking at the faces of the children in the classroom, who will understand which child has understood the lesson and which child has not?

Who will explain something to the child with love?

Who will listen to the child’s problems and encourage the child?

The teacher will still be needed here.

AI can help.

But AI cannot easily replace the humanity of our teacher.

What About Doctors?

AI can also be useful for doctors.

AI can help analyze large amounts of medical information.

AI-based tools are being used to analyze certain types of medical images or reports.

But sitting in front of a patient, listening to their problem, considering their situation and making a medical decision after properly examining them are extremely important human responsibilities.

Therefore, AI can be a helper for doctors.

What About People Working in Offices?

The use of AI may also increase in offices.

Writing emails.

Preparing a draft of a report.

Preparing a summary of large amounts of information.

Finding certain patterns in data.

Taking help to prepare a Presentation.

Many such tasks can be completed faster with the help of AI.

But is working in an office only about preparing documents or writing emails?

In an office, talking to people, solving problems, working with a team, making decisions and accepting responsibility are also important parts of the job.

AI in Journalism and the News Sector

AI can bring major changes to the news sector.

AI can be used to get a preliminary overview of information.

A draft of an article can be prepared.

Translation can be done quickly.

Voice can be generated.

Some AI tools can also be used to create images and videos.

But what is the most important job of a journalist?

Finding the truth and verifying it.

It is very important to check whether a news story is actually true or false.

For this, it is extremely necessary to understand the actual situation, talk to the right people and check reliable news sources.

Therefore, for a journalist, AI is only a tool.

AI cannot become a replacement for a journalist.

Then, Will Everyone’s Job Be Unsafe in the Future?

There is a simple answer to this.

There may be more opportunities for people who are ready to learn new things.

If you know how to do a particular job today, learning how AI can be used along with that work can be beneficial.

For example:

A Writer + AI

A Teacher + AI

A Journalist + AI

A Doctor + AI

A Marketing Employee + AI

A Businessperson + AI

This allows humans and technology to work together.

Learning AI Is Always Better Than Being Afraid of AI

Suppose you have a bicycle.

But if you don’t know how to ride a bicycle, will you be afraid of the bicycle?

No.

You will learn slowly.

You may fall on the first day.

On the second day, you will ride a little better.

After a few days, you will be able to ride the bicycle yourself.

AI is also like this.

At first, it may seem difficult.

But once you learn how to communicate with it and give it the right instructions, it starts becoming useful.

What Should Students and Young People Do?

Instead of running away from AI, understand it.

But remember one thing.

Getting an answer from AI does not mean that your studies are finished.

Read the information given by AI.

And understand it.

Check it again and again.

Think for yourself.

And then give the answer in your own words.

AI should be used not as a shortcut, but as a smart assistant.

A Very Important Thing

No matter how intelligent AI becomes, there are some things that humans have that are very special.

Love.

Emotions.

Experience.

Humanity.

Responsibility.

Creativity.

And the ability to think for yourself.

These things will remain important in the future as well.

In Short…

AI may bring changes to some jobs.

Some tasks may be done by machines in the future.

The need for some old-fashioned types of work may also decrease.

But at the same time, new jobs and demand for new skills may also be created.

Therefore, do not look at AI only as “technology that will take away my job.”

Look at it as “a tool that can be used to make my work easier and better.”

Take one small step from today.

Choose any one AI Tool.

Learn how to use it.

Spend just 15–20 minutes every day experimenting with it.

AI may seem new to you today.

But in the future, it will be a normal part of your work.

Because the future does not belong only to AI or only to humans.

The future belongs to those people who can use both humanity and technology in the right way.

Part 4. Where Is AI Used in Our Everyday Life?

How many times do we use AI from the time we wake up in the morning until we go to sleep at night?

How is AI helping us in mobile phones, Google, YouTube, social media, online Shopping, banking and many other places?

We will understand this in the next part with very simple examples.
